December Bath & Beauty Favorites

If you’ve been following my blog for a while now, you already know that I am OBSESSED with taking baths.  It’s my absolute favorite way to relax and unwind.  Now being 7 months pregnant, baths are my life! Aside from relaxing, it’s really helped with any back pain I’ve been having.  Lately, I’ve been using a handful of awesome products from Sugar Island Essentials. Massage lotion bars, cucumber melon bath bombs, peppermint bath salts, and a chai sugar scrub. The scents are unreal, the second I opened the box it smelled AMAZING, which is very important to me with any bath products. I take my baths very serious! 😉 haha! My favorite was the bath bomb, the scent and fizziness made for the perfect, relaxing bath.  http://www.sugarislandessentials.com

Something I discovered years ago and haven’t stopped using since is dry shampoo.  If you’ve never used it, you need to stop reading this post and go out right now and buy some.  It is the biggest time saver when trying to get ready and look presentable.  With work, kids and other time consuming responsibilities sometimes we don’t always have the time (or take the time) to get ready, pamper ourselves and do our hair and makeup on a daily basis.  Personally, it’s a challenge for me to wake up, shower, apply makeup & blow dry & straighten my hair every single day all while taking care of a 3 year old. I LOVE using this Joico instant refresh dry shampoo for days when I just don’t have the time to spend doing my hair, it’s great for “next day hair” and you can’t even tell that it hasn’t been washed. A must for any busy mom! http://www.joico.com

My favorite beauty find lately is this Studio 10 visible lift face definer.  We can all thank Kim Kardashian for making contouring famous, all with good reason! This tiny little palette is essentially a “makeup facelift.” It hides what we don’t want seen and enhances what we do. 🙂 It includes a bronze sculpting powder to shape, define & contour the face, a highlighter to brighten & lift and a rose cream blush for a subtle light pink, youthful look. I love it!  The texture is great, it doesn’t take a ton of effort to blend and never looks “cakey.”  On days when I feel less than beautiful, I use this to complete any look.. even when I’m barely wearing any makeup.  Contouring makes such a difference! It’s enriched with anti-aging Suberlift & is paraben free.   http://www.studio10beauty.com

Those were my most used bath & beauty products in December, I’ll have a lot more coming along with a few baby posts (I can’t resist) in the next few weeks to come! Enjoy what’s left of 2014 & have a happy & healthy New Year! ❤
