Valentine’s Day Gift Guide: For Him!

Part 2 of my Valentine’s day gift guide is dedicated to the men! These gifts are by no means only for men they are just mostly all food related and things my husband loved! After all, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, right?!? 🙂

Zingerman’s – The Weekender Gift Box

Mail. Order. Food. The best thing ever! Located in Michigan, Zingerman’s offers everything from baked goods to specialty deli items to coffee. A food lovers paradise. After finding the weekender gift set I immediately thought of my husband. Artisan bread, salami, brownies, peanut brittle, half a pound of cheddar cheese, and their extremely popular sourcream coffee cake. It’s all there, what’s not to love? We used the crispy bread in french onion soup, the brownies and peanut brittle for sweet snacks, I didn’t even taste the salami (my husband devoured it while I was at work), cheddar cheese with crackers, and the coffee cake for brunch. The sourcream coffeecake has a balanced, rich flavor and is insanely delicious, totally worth all the rage! The weekender gift set is great because it extends well past any holiday as it is perfect all year around! http://www.zingermans.com

Corvus Coffee

I know I added coffee to my original gift guide post, but I like options, what can I say? My husband started a 9-5 job about 5 months ago after working crazy retail hours for 8 years so coffee has been a daily staple since. We go through it pretty fast and rely on it every day to function. 😉 I was originally drawn to Corvus because of the unique packaging (I’m a sucker for good packaging, I’ll admit it.) Roasted in small batches in Denver Colorado, your coffee is shipped and received fresh within days. They work only with single estate and privately owned farms creating a better livelihood for farmers and a better quality product. http://www.corvuscoffee.com

Two Moon – Valentine’s Day Gift Box

Specializing in shortbread, everything is made in small batches (with lots of love) in Brooklyn. They offer both sweet and savory flavors that pair well with anything from coffee to wine. This gift set includes 5 different flavors, 8 cookies each, 40 cookies total! If your man loves cookies, this is the gift for him! The flavors included are, vanilla bean (my husbands favorite), rosemary sea salt, salted chocolate & espresso, earl grey & chocolate chip and my favorite, rose white chocolate ganache! http://www.twomoonbklyn.com

Sift Dessert Bar – Frost Your Own Cupcake Set

This gift isn’t specifically for men, I just included it here because my husband loves when I bake for him.  No time for baking? No problem, it comes with 6 cupcakes, vanilla frosting, a piping bag and tip and sprinkles. If you’re sneaky you can trick him into thinking you made it all from scratch 😉 or you can just decorate them together! I frosted & decorated these with my 3 year old son and he loved it. No effort for me, and lots of fun for him. A great gift for all ages! http://www.siftdessertbar.com

Batter & Cream – Valentine’s Day Gift Set

Whoopie pies, whoopie thins & hot chocolate with heart shaped marshmallows, the ultimate winter comfort food/treats! The whoopie pie flavors included are vanilla, chocolate and red velvet. This was my first time ever trying whoopie pies, and I was missing out! Red velvet was my favorite, my husband loved the vanilla but we didn’t get any more than one each because my son loved them so much we didn’t want to take them away! The whoopie thins were coffee & cinnamon flavored and were the perfect combination for a warm treat on a cold day. http://www.batterandcream.com

Ticket Chocolate – S’mores Kit + Hot Chocolate on a Stick

Whoever said s’mores are meant for summer has obviously never lived with a marshmallow addict! Seriously, I’ve mentioned a bunch of times that my son loves marshmallows, so we enjoy s’mores all year around. They’re made with the finest ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. These hot chocolate sticks were made especially for Valentine’s day and each contain a conversation heart. Heat your milk for about 2 minutes in the microwave stir in chocolate and it’s ready. So simple and so delicious. Hot chocolate + s’mores = the perfect WINTER pair! http://www.ticketchocolate.com

KESS InHouse – Vasare Nar “Tessellation” Fleece Throw Blanket

The softest, most comfortable blanket ever.  If you’ve followed my blog for a while now, you already know I am obsessed with interior design/decor. I was drawn to Kess InHouse because of their unique designs, both modern & contemporary. They offer a huge variety of home furnishings including, duvet covers, throw pillows, cutting boards, shower curtains and so much more. Their products are so unique and designed by artists all over, they’re something you won’t find in stores. “We believe that art enriches our lives and we want to support the artists who make it possible.” They pride themselves on quality and integrity & for that reason I will always be a fan! I chose this specific throw because my husband just got done creating a home office/man cave and this throw is edgy, masculine and matches the decor style perfectly. I had so much trouble narrowing down my favorite, I loved SO many! http://www.kessinhouse.com
