It’s 2015 and juicing is practically mainstream. It’s popularity has been on the rise for years and has caused much speculation whether or not it’s beneficial. I’ve read articles both for and against it and the positives outweighed the negatives. If you’re interested in trying out a juice cleanse, do your research to ensure it’s right for you. There are a ton of companies that will do all the work for you and deliver the juices directly to your door, my favorite is LizzyJays! They add only the freshest organic & non-GMO ingredients and have zero preservatives. The company was founded by owner, Casey who was a personal trainer for over 20 years. Her goal is to help people find balance, become more energized, less toxic, be in control of their body, their weight and their lives.
I chose the Novice 1-Day Cleanse. The juices included are: Crisp Greens, Watermelon Cooler, Carrot Twist, Veggie Mix, Spicy Lemonade & Smooth Almond. I didn’t think the juices tasted bad at all (like many do), my favorite was the watermelon cooler (watermelon, apple, mint) SO refreshing! I have the hardest time dieting and really needed some motivation and a jump start to a healthy regimen. I didn’t weigh myself because it was only a day, but I did feel less bloated and better overall. Where else would you want to buy fresh juices containing fruits & vegetables from other than THE GARDEN STATE?! 😉
A few benefits of cleansing are:
Rest your stomach – juice requires less digestive processing.
Reduce your appetite – you’re getting the nutrients you need, and feel satisfied with less food.
Adds TONS of nutrients to your body – fruits & vegetables give us tons of vitamins & minerals.
Improves Energy – much more refreshing and energizing than any caffeinated drink.
Lose weight – say goodbye to water weight. Excellent jump start to a healthy diet.
Rehydrate your body – extra fluids to ensure you’re drinking enough.
Clear complexion – no greasy, processed junk added just raw fruits & vegetables.
