Summer is right around the corner and I’ve got vacations and beach trips on my mind. Here in New Jersey, the weather has been in the low 80’s for the past week, I’m loving it! One of the hardest things to find/pack when going on vacation is the #1 item you’ll need if you’re traveling somewhere tropical.. your swimsuit!
If you’ve been following my blog or have even read a few of my posts, you know that I am an eco-friendly, recyclable, “green” product junkie! I am all about supporting companies that care about our health & the environment. The most unique summer item I found this year was my bathing suit. It is from Eco Swim, they offer a variety of bathing suits for women of all ages, no matter your shape or size. Their suits are made of 100% recycled materials containing post-consumer waste (plastic bottles) & industrial waste (nylon) which in turn create high quality yarn. All done to reduce our carbon footprint and leave the earth a better, cleaner place for future generations. And it’s all made right here in the U.S.A!
I am very picky when it comes to bathing suits, I’m self conscious, modest and want to wear the most flattering suit I can find. That’s something I think we all can agree on, right?! 😉 I have the Glammed Up Layered Ruffle Bandeau one piece swimsuit. I love it and it’s flattering even if you don’t have a flat stomach. The triple-tier is on trend and fits nicely around every curve, hiding any imperfections while accentuating our more “acceptably curvy” areas! It fits true to size, but if you’re nervous it may be a little too tight, order one size up to be safe.
I’ve seen them sold on Amazon, Nordstrom’s site and a few other various websites. Check out http://www.aquagreen.net and follow them on Instagram @aquagreen — tons of tropical/beach pictures, you’ll want to plan your next vacation ASAP!
