I’m not really into subscription boxes, I don’t like over paying for tiny sample sizes that seem to repeat month after month. HOWEVER, I may have changed my mind on that after receiving the August BeautyFIX box from DermStore. It’s $34.95 a month and you receive a bunch of the latest and greatest products from skincare, to haircare and even makeup. They send both full size and travel size products equaling a total of $100 or more. I can’t speak on previous months, this is the only BeautyFIX box I’ve received thus far, but I was really impressed.
More than any other “beauty” category, skincare appeals most to me. This months box contained a lot of skincare products that cater to acne prone skin. UM, YES PLEASE! I don’t have terrible acne, but my skin is way more prone to breakouts now as an adult than it was in my teens.

As you can see, a lot of products were included, which is awesome. I was really happy with the picks they chose and most of them we’re products I’ve never used before which is great. I am all about trying new brands, I’ve found many of my go-to products from testing samples. The Patchology Facial Sheet was my favorite item included. I used it while taking a hot bath, I seriously felt like I was at a spa. It’s a combination of lactic acid and aloe vera. I had it on for 20 minutes or so and it left my skin SO soft, smooth and hydrated. I will most definitely be purchasing more of these!
