I’ve been really into shopping for fall clothes, shoes & accessories this year and have found a few great pieces I’ve added (or plan to) that are affordable, versatile and can be worn multiple ways. Here are a few of my favorite closet staples to build a good fall wardrobe. The main focus for each look is on the bag & shoes. 🙂
.:. Bare Traps Felicity Boots .:. I wear these boots constantly. I love that they’re a timeless style making them a fall & winter staple year after year. Equestrian inspired and have a quilted stich back, they pair well with so many different outfits from laid back to dressed up. My favorite way to wear them is with leggings or skinny jeans. Guaranteed to pull together any look and have you looking effortlessly chic every time.
.:. Bloch Cappuccino Two Tone Ballet Flats .:. These are a little pricey, but they are super comfortable, go with almost anything and will last you a while. You don’t have to be a ballerina to appreciate Bloch’s beautiful line of fashion shoes (and apparel). Their story is inspiring and their products are very high quality. These are great to wear while running errands, traveling or even with formal wear if you don’t need the added height from heels. The cappucino color and bow add color and detail to an understated plain black outfit.
.:. David & Young Headwraps .:. Along with the change in scenery that fall brings, the cool, brisk days are shortly followed. I love adding chic accessories like head wraps & scarves to a plain casual outfit for a pop of color and of course for added warmth.
.:. LDR Handbags .:. This really is the perfect companion for the modern day working woman. The Porter style is by far the most functional and stylish laptop bag you can find that will hold your laptop and any other accessories you need, making this the ultimate multipurpose bag. I always spend more on my purses/bags because I keep them for years, so it’s easy to justify spending the extra money on a quality bag you love and will get a ton of use out of. I love all three colors they offer but would choose the black since it will go with everything. These bags are currently available for pre-order.
.:. MIA Jeri Boots .:. I am the queen of high heels. I am 5’0 on a lucky day and can definitely use any extra height I can get! I wear heels daily for work, but more often than not am dressed down on the weekends but still wear heels any chance I get! I pair these with leggings or skinny jeans and a basic tunic or tee and it dresses up my casual outfits without looking too overdressed. Distressed suede, 3” heel, you’ll find yourself reaching for these on many occasions.
.:. Street Level Handbags .:. I saw this brand at Nordstrom Rack, and was really shocked to see the price tag. They look way more expensive than they are! I love this bag because it’s reversible, so I can easily switch it up depending on my mood or outfit. SO many different colors and styles to suit any look you’re going for. And if you should have any trouble narrowing down your favorite color, you could just buy 2, they’re a fraction of the cost of a designer handbag and look just as stylish.
