I also like to incorporate a few products into my day to further promote relaxation..

Aromatherapy is beyond beneficial for emotional support. Essential oils can serve a purpose for any emotional state you’re in: they uplift your spirts, focus your mind and even calm you down. The use of high-quality oils will offer support and help you gain a clearer mind. To calm down and restore myself I like to use the following blends,

[ herbalogic ] decompress MX capsules & – I am not a fan of taking any medications that turn you into a walking zombie and completely fog your mind and mask your thoughts. These are natural herb products without the harsh side effects. The company was started by two licensed acupuncturists that saw demand for natural alternatives to all of the synthetic drugs on the market. They added a modern spin to conventional herbal health formulas used in traditional Chinese medicine. Decompress MX assists with reducing anger, promotes a healthy mood response to stress and helps relieve tension headaches. The Peacekeeper Herb drops are essentially the same herbal formula as the Decompress MX capsules just in a different form (drops vs capsules) and are targeted towards women. These drops are technically targeted towards PMS symptoms (mood swings, irritability), however, can be used any time to restore balance and promote calm. For the record, I do notice a difference in my mood/mindset on days I use these. Their website offers a lot more detailed information along with SO many other options.

aromatherapy associates ] relax light bath & shower oil – I’ve mentioned a thousand times that my favorite way to relax and unwind is to take a hot bath and let any & all stress slowly fade away. I love bath bombs, salts, rich soapy bubbles but what I reach for most when I need more of a “pick me up” is this bath oil. It’s infused with ylang ylang, petitgrain and lavender to relax and soothe your body and your mind. The oil is so rich it leaves your skin soft and moisturized and the scent lingers and benefits you even after you’re out of the bath.
