Solutions for Oily to Blemish-Prone Skin

I’ve mentioned before that since having kids, my skin has gone absolutely nuts and I now have more breakouts than I did as a teenager. I have tried EVERYTHING to help clear my sporadic breakouts and oily skin and maintain a clear complexion but have often found myself disappointed after spending money on products that have fallen way short on expectations. Even the slightest change in climate, diet or wearing new makeup can wreak havoc on your skin. I’m constantly researching and trying products to keep my complexion clear and these are ones I can stand behind!

Evologie Trio •  Ironically, this brand was created by a father (also a doctor) for his daughter to help her cope with monthly breakouts that started when she became pregnant and continued after. Their products are formulated to assist skin’s natural ability to hydrate and restore to its natural optimal health. Each formula packs a powerful punch that is noticed immediately. This system does much more than clear up blemishes, it rejuvenates skin and with continued use, you will for sure see healthier more radiant skin. The Stay Clear Cleanser is one of my all time favorites and leaves my skin SO clean and refreshed. Stay Clear Cream is formulated with natural ingredients to combat blemishes, brighten dark spots, even skin tone and maintain hydration. The Intensive Blemish Serum uses the highly concentrated YS3 Complex to instantly clear blemishes and strengthen skins natural protective barrier to reduce the chance of future breakouts. I cannot say enough about how much I love Evologie and how quickly you see results, the full line is a complete game-changer.

Osea .:. Sea Minerals Mist • A spritz of this will keep makeup in tact, restore mineral balance, reduce redness and inflammation AND tone post-breakout skin. It’s packed full of  nutrients and antioxidants including Patagonian seaweed extracts and Dead Sea Crystals. I love using this after cleaning my face to seal in moisture and continue to use throughout the day to refresh my skin.

Boscia .:. Charcoal Pore Pudding • I love using this treatment 2-3 times a week to intensely detoxify my skin and give it a much needed deep cleanse. It’s a combination of activated black & white charcoal and it minimizes the appearance of pores while fully balancing skin. It’s a thick, non-drying formula that comes off gently and as easily as it’s applied. It will leave your skin SO smooth, healthy and overall amazing! This is great for blemish prone skin as it completely clarifies skin by removing all dirt and oil build up and absorbs all impurities. In addition to activated charcoal this contains Kaolin Clay which helps reduce excess oil without stripping your skin of it’s natural moisture. This is by far one of my favorite masks/treatments and makes my evening skincare routine more like a spa-experience.

GM Collin .:. Normalizing Travel Kit • Three products to keep your skin fresh & clean on the go. Oxygen Puractiv+ Mild Cleaning Gel to remove makeup & excess sebum and brighten & tighten skin. Treating Mist to even complexion for a matte finish. Lastly, refine your skins texture while purifying complexion with the Oxygen Puractiv+ Cream. I love the idea of always having travel size products on hand to make sure you don’t slack on your skincare routine even while you’re away.

GM Collin .:. Essential Oil Complex • Rich in essential oils, this highly concentrated fluid soothes and refreshes blemish-prone skin. Using this + my Evologie products seriously keeps any breakouts away. It has the consistency of water and instantly absorbs into skin. Improvements resulted from using this are noticeable within days and I highly recommend this to anyone looking to fight acne. This is definitely a staple in my skincare routine.
