I am SO excited to be a part of the latest IT Cosmetics & QVC Today’s Special Value launch. It contains 4 of my favorite things, that I do not go a day without using! Full coverage CC + Cream, 3-in-1 primer/mascara & eyeliner, moisturizing lip balm, and one of IT’s super soft, high quality foundation brushes.
CC+ Cream Illumination .:. I’ll start off with my favorite item included. A light, creamy, medium to full coverage CC Cream foundation. I most definitely prefer BB creams, CC creams, or tinted moisturizers over heavy foundations. It looks way more natural and doesn’t crease as easily and cake on like some foundations. I like to apply a little more than 1 pump all over my face massaging it into my skin and then lightly go over it with a brush just to even everything out and make sure everything is fully blended. The coverage is buildable; I only apply 1 layer, and concealer in areas that need additional coverage. It’s not something that is going to melt off of your face on hot days and lasts all day. Totally loving this, it’s definitely a new staple in my foundation collection.
Heavenly Skin CC+ Skin Correcting Brush .:. I’m a sucker for a good brush. It’s funny how different foundation can look on your skin depending on the brush that you use. I love every single IT Cosmetics brush that I own and love building my collection. I use this to thoroughly blend out my foundation and also use it to apply my bye bye pores finishing powder. The bristles are so silky soft it glides right over your face and makes applying ANY foundation a breeze.
Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment .:. If you’ve followed my blog for a while you already know that I’m all about light to nude lip colors. They’re what look best on my skin tone and what I feel the most confident in. This color is really soft flush of pink (basically sheer) and works well for everyday wear and especially well on days you’re looking to keep your makeup light and natural looking. It’s smooth, hydrating and non-drying.
Tightline 3-in-1 Mascara Primer .:. This is essentially your eyeliner, mascara primer and mascara all in one. This isn’t my absolute favorite for mascara, only because it doesn’t add enough volume. It definitely adds length and doesn’t irritate sensitive eyes. Coming from someone with less than desirable lashes, I just wish it added more volume. But I do still enjoy applying a few layers for the length than go in with a different mascara to create thicker, fuller lashes.
