PUR Cosmetics Bare It All 4-in-1 Skin Perfecting Foundation

Foundation… my #1 makeup essential. My skin is constantly changing and I find that what works well for me one season, almost always doesn’t work for me the next. Recently, PUR Cosmetics generously gave me the opportunity to try their newest release; the Bare It All 4-in-1 Skin Perfecting Foundation, which I am so grateful for! As much as I LOVE my Fiona Stiles foundation, I am always excited to try out the latest & greatest when it comes to makeup. Next to my PUR pressed powder which I’ve been using since it first came out, the Fiona Stiles foundation is the only product that has worked for me consistently over the past year, and I’ve tried upwards of 10-15 foundations which is kind of insane.

The Bare It All foundation is a demi-matte formula that offers 12 hour wear and comes in a wide range of 10 shades total. It’s infused with PUR’s proprietary energy complex and ceretin complex to help renew and correct problem areas over time. As someone with combination/oily skin I can definitely appreciate the matte formula. I really liked the consistency of this foundation; it works well as both a concealer and a foundation and covers really well without looking too thick/cakey. It lasted all day for me and didn’t oxidize, I did still need to use a blotting sheet (T-zone) throughout the day, but thats normal for my skin type no matter what foundation I use.

Shade Range:

As an avid makeup enthusiast, I’m thrilled to have several different shades to mix and match to create a custom shade that matches my skin tone perfectly year-round. Currently, I like to mix light tan with tan. My skin is still somewhat tan from my vacation but I find that mixing the two create a more precise shade for me. I also enjoy using a tiny amount of the lighter shade Golden Medium as under eye concealer. The foundation is full coverage so it’s not really necessary to apply layers of concealer but if you’re looking to cover dark circles, blemishes or un-even skin tones, this works wonders.

In addition to their new foundation, they’ve also created the perfect brush to accompany it. SOOOO – I sort of have a makeup brush obsession and oval brushes are my absolute favorite! Foundation seems to apply much smoother and effortlessly and it just looks so much more flawless. These brushes are top notch and compare to the high-end Artis line. I hope PUR comes out with a full collection because I will totally be all over that! I also tried applying the foundation using a damp beautyblender as well as my BlendSmart rotating foundation brush. While it blended well with all, I loved the PUR brush the most, but also recommend a damp beauty sponge if you want to sheer out the product a little or if you have dry, textured skin. I’ve even added a few drops of concentrated illuminating drops which work really well with this formula and will leave your skin radiant and glowing.

As with all of PUR Cosmetics products, this is formulated without any harsh chemicals, parabens, gluten, or BPAs. I’m enjoying this new foundation and love having to use minimal product for optimal coverage. ••• www.purcosmetics.com // http://www.ulta.com
