We’ve all heard of aged wine, cheese, meat, and liquor, but aged coffee?! Nespresso recently launched a new aged to perfection, Selection Vintage 2014 coffee. Like wine, coffee can also be expertly aged for a unique result that is rich, smooth and deliciously bold.
They source Arabica coffee beans from high altitudes in the Colombian Highlands, that have harvested for over three years and carefully aged to give the a complex taste of bold woody notes combined with subtle fruity notes and a smooth velvet-like texture. Their aging process combines oxygen, moisture, light, atmospheric pressure and most importantly, time.
Nespresso recommends drinking it black to enjoy the full flavor profile. I prefer to add a splash of milk & cream (and chocolate, pictured) for the perfect sweet flavor.
I might order some of these for my machine! I absolutely love Nespresso.
Yessss you should – so do I!!
