Blame it on a decade of watching reality T.V. stars get lip injections or maybe even the Kylie Jenner lip kit craze. Fuller, plumper lips are in and I am completely fixated on achieving them without injecting my lips with any unnecessary artificialness. With a plethora of products popping up from a quick google search, I’ve narrowed down 3 completely different methods to put to the test. Of course I was skeptical, but was totally up to the challenge! While we’re all looking for different results (ie: a quick lip lift or a full blown Angelina Jolie bee-stung pout) there are several fool-proof ways to achieve your desired result, no injections needed. Which lip plumper product is right for you?
• KNC Beauty Lip Mask ::: An all-natural formula containing rose flower oil, cherry extract and Vitamin E. This 15-minute lip mask is super hydrating & helps reduce the appearance of any fine lines. The addition of collagen helps gently plump lips, fully preparing them for flawless lipstick application. While the “plumping” results on these are minimal & subtle, I do notice a slight difference but it only lasts for a few minutes. • GrandeLips Hydrating Lip Plumper ::: Probably my favorite and the most common way to add volume to your lips is a plumping gloss! Forget all these liquid matte lipsticks, give me a nice gloss and I am totally happy. I love the formula and 10+ colors offered from this line. The colors Barely There (light pale nude) and Sunbaked Sedona (brown mauve) are my two favorites. They add a sheer hint of color giving your lips a “my lips but better” color and only slightly tingle. Infused with Volulip & hyaluronic acid, the results with these are shown in less than 5 minutes after application. They claim that after 30 days of continued use these will improve lip hydration, volume, softness & firmness. I love wearing these alone or layered with other products. The formula is smooth and not sticky at all, or overly thick like many lip plumpers I’ve tried. They aren’t transfer proof and do need to be reapplied throughout the day but do give your lips that added volume that looks so natural, I’m thinking I need to add more colors to my collection. // http://www.grandecosmetics.com
• JuvaLips Original Lip Plumper Device ::: I saw this on Tati’s (Glam Life Guru) YouTube video. Being that she is like the queen of all things beauty, I was immediately intrigued. And in my book, anything that is Tati approved is probably worth giving it a chance. My thoughts? WOW! This may be the most effective quickest, long lasting way to fuller, plumper, beautiful lips. I am SO impressed with how well this works! » “The JuvaLips design has a soft contoured mouthpiece that provides a comfortable seal against your lips that prevents bruising and injury. It also minimizes the fine lines around the lips as well.” « The results may vary depending on the user; I found that it keeps my lips plump for about 5-7 hours depending on the amount of time I use it (usually 50 seconds or so for my desired liking). And the results aren’t that in-your-face “I’m fake” kind of thing, but most definitely noticeable. It’s incredibly easy to use and only takes less than a minute, and can be used several times a day. This device is a little pricey but if you’re looking for something that truly works and is the real deal, this is worth the splurge.
