Leave it to my favorite eyeshadow brand ever to release the prettiest pastel palette this season! I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it! Rather than a 4th edition PRO palette or another giant Mega Pro, they’ve released a more compact palette themed around.. brunch! This I ❤ Brunch palette is a part of their new Beauties Who Brunch collection which also includes several blushes and lip glosses. And ironically enough, Brunch just happens to be my favorite meal of the day! 🙂
The details: this holographic beautiful palette contains 16 spring crave-worthy colors, in addition to their mini Behind the Scenes Eye Primer and a dual-ended eyeshadow brush. They contain the same velvety, buttery, soft to the touch formula as their original PRO palettes. The shadows can be applied wet or dry which in my opinion makes a big difference. When applied dry the pigmentation is very light, and certain colors only subtly show depending on your skin tone. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing when working with bright colors. I for one like that they apply true to light pastel shades and am able to intensify them by spraying my brush with makeup setting spray.
This palette appealed to me because I am Lorac obsessed and have nothing like this in my collection. I always tend to gravitate towards gold, neutral and cool toned shades so I love the addition of wearable pastels. In addition to the bright pops of color it also includes enough neutral colors to create a whole look using only this palette.
The standouts for me are Hot Sauce, Avocado Toast, Mimosa and Smoothie. Disappointments include Pancakes and Sunday Funday. They were the least pigmented and what showed up the least on my skin tone. Some of them apply a little chalky but I find that patting them on rather than doing a typical brushing motion helps.
Swatches Under Direct Sunlight:
If you’re a Lorac junkie like me, then you will enjoy this palette. If you’re looking for bright, beautiful colors to wear all Spring & Summer long, you will probably love this too!

gorgeous! I love LORAC…I’m not sure if this palette would be for me though – I’m not sure how often I’d wear it. It sure is beautiful though!
