Am I the only person who didn’t know Nicole Richie was an Urban Decay brand ambassador? I’ve loved Nicole since her The Simple Life days and was excited to see her collaborate with several popular beauty YouTubers to promote this palette and well… if it’s good enough for Nicole, it sure is good enough for me! So I was pretty excited to try this out.
I don’t have any of the other Naked mini palettes so I was surprised to see just how tiny this was, yet it still contains full sized pans, so you’re not being jipped on product. It really is the perfect size for traveling or for just throwing in your purse for makeup on-the-go. If you already own the full size Naked Heat palette, I’m not sure how necessary this is and if you really need it or not, but we all have things we don’t really NEED, right?!
The formula is exactly what you’d expect from Urban Decay; smooth, pigmented, long-wearing and very blendable. It contains 6 shades total – 5 mattes & 1 demi-matte. Inhale being the demi-matte. It’s a soft cream shade with a slight sheen (no glitter). I’ve been really into all matte palettes this one containing just a handful of shades makes for a really quick & easy look without much thought or effort. I love this palette a lot more than I expected and can see this getting a whole lot of use this Spring & Summer!
