I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve written a monthly favorites post, but here it is, everything I’ve been using & loving for the month of March! Xo.
Pur Cosmetics Eye Polish Glitters // $36 ::: They released a different set for the holidays which was beautiful but I love this selection even more. These are comparable to the Stila Magnificent Metals and are WAY easier to use than any loose glitter pigment. I find that applying them directly to my lids and then patting them on to distribute the color evenly works best. They dry down really quickly and once they set, they’re not going anywhere. Long lasting, non-creasing and my favorite addition to amp up any eyeshadow look.
Kristofer Buckle Undiscovered Full Coverage Concealer // $26.50 ::: Full coverage, creaseless, flawless coverage. I’ve only found 3 concealers I’ve liked over the last year or so, and this is one of them. The consistency is really smooth and creamy and it contains shea butter and olive oil to moisturize and soften skin. It’s great for covering redness & blemishes and amazing at brightening up unsightly dark under eyes.
Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions Palette // $27 ::: These colors are everything. I LOVE rosy, mauve shades and this is one of the better palettes I’ve found with those colors. I love the tiny size, it’s perfect to throw in your makeup bag to go, travel with, and actually an attainable palette to pan. The mattes are really smooth and buttery and the shimmers have such a rich color payoff. Although the palette is tiny and condensed, you still get a lot of product and this is a fabulous option if you want to try out Huda Beauty eyeshadows but don’t want to spend $60+ on a full-sized palette. Obsessed!
Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer // $14.95 ::: This has received cult status within the beauty community and with good reason! I’m picky when it comes to bronzer, I hate overly orange bronzers that blend out and end up looking “muddy”. Not the case with this, it doesn’t apply patchy or too heavy and it blends out very easily and adds the perfect sun kissed glow. I’m loving SO much from Physicians formula lately and they are so affordable so its justified to stock up on one of everything!!
Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20 // $14.95 ::: Who else gets really excited to find an affordable foundation?! Compared to the new Marc Jacobs foundation I’ve also been using regularly, this is a steal! I mix MN4 and LC1 to get my perfect shade. It’s definitely not a heavy, full coverage foundation but thats what I love about it. It covers redness, discoloration, acne scars, etc without looking like a mask. Just even, natural coverage that will be even more appreciated once the weather starts to get hot.
Kristofer Buckle Twinset Blush Duo // $33 ::: This Twinset Blush Duo comes in two shades; Forever (pictured) & Delight and includes both a cream and a powder. The idea behind this concept is to apply the cream to cheeks for a healthy wash of color and then apply the powder overtop to set & lock the color in place. Blush always seems to be on of the first things to fade away throughout the day, so this concept is pretty genius. I LOVE this color, it’s perfect for everyday wear and is subtle, buildable and very easy to work with. A lot of overly pigmented blushes can be way too easily over applied, this one is one of my all time-faves. Oh, and the packaging is so, so beautiful!
Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment // $52 ::: An all-in-one treatment that corrects redness and protects skin from environmental damage. It strengthens and restores skin with the help of resurrections plants, yarrow and the powerful Tiger Grass formula. It also contains calcium, potassium & magnesium to hydrate and wake up tired skin. The coolest thing about this is that it’s a green-to-beige color-correcting treatment that instantly covers redness! I LOVE this cream. This has made the biggest difference in my makeup routine. When I use a tiny amount of this all over my face (concentrated mainly on my cheeks) it instantly evens my skin tone and in turn I use a whole lot less foundation & concealer. If you have any redness this is totally worth trying out!
NARS Orgasm Lipstick & Hourglass Futurist ::: The NARS lipstick made me rediscover my love for the infamous shade we all used & loved years ago. It’s a super flattering shade of peachy pink with shimmer and when applied it sheers out to a subtle shimmer that adds a slight brightness while pulling your whole look together. The Hourglass Futurist Lip Stylo is one of the best “your lips but better shade”. I’ve reach for this over any other lip product in the in March and even now into April. With ingredients like shea butter + jojoba oil, this is as hydrating & nourishing as it is beautiful. It’s a mauve/nude and is so creamy and easy to apply.
Saribelle Therapeutic Mud Mask // $21 ::: A combination of clays, grapefruit peel, lemongrass & peppermint essential oil. This is great as an all over face mask or spot treatment. I love how clean this makes my skin feel and that it deep cleans my pores without burning my skin. It contains no sulfates, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances or dyes, is gluten-free, non-GMO, paraben-free, doesn’t contain any nasty chemicals and is ideal for sensitive skin. Yes, please!
IBY Beauty Radiant Glow Palette // $25 ::: This is one of the BEST complete face palettes you can find for the price. More often than not, a face palette containing all blushes or all highlighters will only get some use. With 6 highlighters, chances are only half of them will work for your skin tone. The bronzer, blushes and highlights in this are SO, so good! I use every single shade and love how easy the formula is to work with. The bronzer blends out effortlessly, the blush in Pop! is so pretty and understated and will work with so many skin tones. I really enjoy this palette and have been reaching for it a lot and am definitely packing this when I travel later this month.
FYI ** As always, my reviews are not paid and are based on my own opinion, personal use and results.
