Essential oils have been used for thousands of years, for a variety of purposes varying from spiritual to medicinal, and there are many scientific studies that support the theory that essential oils can be incredibly beneficial in quantifiable ways. I am a huge believer in them! Between working, raising two boys, managing a household and everything in-between, I now see more than ever the importance of self-care. Aromatherapy is one of my favorite ways to help me relax, unwind and center my focus.
My newest aromatherapy addition; the Reflection Essential Oil Diffuser looks really sleek & luxe and with a few drops of essential oils & only 4 fl oz of water will provide fragrance and run for up to 10 hours. Pour just 5-10 drops of essential oils in and watch the steam rise up and refresh your space rather quickly in addition to alleviating excess dryness in the air.
I was in need of a restock as I go through my essential oils pretty quickly. The Everyday Essential Oils Pack contains 3 common, “essentials” that are great to always have on hand or a great place to start if you’re just discovering oils. Lavender is one of my all time favorite oils as it is well-known for its calming effects and it’s ability to reduce stress levels. Peppermint smells really crisp & refreshing and is one I like to use when I’m deep cleaning my house and Lemongrass has a light citrus scent and is really earthy and as a sufferer of frequent headaches, this is a personal favorite.
I was also intrigued by the Yoga Essential Oils Pack and with names like Zen, Meditation and Namaste who wouldn’t be?! Zen (Mindful) contains uplifting cassia, sweet orange, with fresh eucalyptus, rosemary and lemongrass. Namaste (Salutation) contains sweet basil and thyme, bergamot and uplifting grapefruit, mandarin, and orange. Meditation (Grounding) contains bergamot, ylang-ylang, clary sage, lavandin, lavender, geranium and spiritual sweet fennel. Any of these oils diffused + a hot bubble bath & an hour of silence is my go-to routine when it comes to self-care “me time”.
Whether you’re looking to add to your existing stock of essential oils or just getting into the practice of aromatherapy and all of it’s benefits, SpaRoom is a great place to go. They offer a nice selection of diffusers (that aren’t ridiculously expensive), a TON of essential oil options, accessories, breath inhalers, topical rollers and even oils designed specifically for kids.
