Natural Products Expo is the world’s largest natural, organic and healthy products event and featured over 3,500+ companies this year. Yes, you read that right. There were over 3,500 booths at the actual event. How amazing is it that we live in a world with access to an overwhelming amount of healthy products?! Below are my favorite offerings found at this years Expo West:
Wandering Bear • Cold Brew .:. My #1 favorite! Not only did they make an appearance at Expo West, but they recently rolled out their cold brew line at Target stores nationwide. As if drinking single serve perfectly brewed, smooth, concentrated coffee straight from the container wasn’t convenient enough, now we can stock up while at Target. Yes. Please. // http://www.wanderingbearcoffee.com
Alo Drink .:. This has been a favorite of mine for years and I was excited to see they released newer flavors. These are gluten-free, fat-free, non-GMO, and contain no preservatives. My favorite flavor is Mangosteen + Mango – it’s super refreshing, sweetened with cane sugar and I love putting these in the freezer for an hour or so before drinking them to make them the texture of a slushy.. much appreciated on a hot day. // http://www.alodrink.com
Eat Your Coffee • Snack Bars .:. One of the most unique ways to get your daily caffeine fix, and it’s not from a traditional cup of coffee! Each bar is made from a base of dates, nut butter, oats, fair trade coffee beans and is 180 calories and contain 80mg of caffeine. It will easily satisfy your sweet tooth and pack a punch of energy in every bite. // http://www.eatyourcoffee.com
Emmy’s Organics • Chocolate Covered Cookie Bites .:. Emmy’s showcased their newest product, the Chocolate Covered Cookie Bites in Mint & Peanut Butter. Gluten-free, vegan coconut cookie dough covered in rich dark chocolate sweetened with organic cane sugar. These cookie bites are said to contain half the amount of sugar as their counterparts so you can indulge without feeling guilty. // http://www.emmysorganic.com
Buddha Teas • CBD Teas .:. I noticed CBD was a huge trend at Expo West and looks like it will continue to gain popularity in 2019. One of my favorite ways to unwind when the weather is nice is to sit outside and drink a cup of tea at the end of the night. The peace & quiet of nature is relaxing, grounding and the inclusion of chamomile & CBD (5mg) tea add an even greater sense of calm. // https://cbd.buddhateas.com
Big Island Coffee Roasters • Espresso Bites .:. Called a latte in a box for a reason. These are such a treat and although it looks like a chocolate bar, it actually contains ZERO chocolate, just 100% Hawaiian coffee! They’re not overly sweet and have the texture of fudge, are low in sugar, gluten-free, vegan and contain 3 shots of strong espresso. These are great for an on-the-go lifestyle and even better for days you don’t have time to make a cup of coffee. // http://www.bigislandcoffeeroasters.com
Rachel’s Brand • Overnight Oats .:. A mason jar of overnight oats are a really easy way to meal-prep breakfast for the week. These come in three flavors; Original, Cinnamon Raisin and Apple Cinnamon. My fave – Cinnamon Raison, it contains only organic, kosher, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan and soy-free ingredients such as rolled oats, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseed meal, raisins and cinnamon, and the best part is.. it’s sugar free! // http://www.rachelsbrand.com
Bitsy’s • Smart Crackers & Good Cookies .:. My kids are OBSESSED with everything we’ve tried from Bitsy’s. I have a 4 year old who is a VERY picky eater and he managed to devour a box of the Gingerbread Zucchini Carrot Good Cookies within 2 days. That is proof that these are picky-kid approved and contain non-GMO ingredients you can feel confident feeding your kids. It’s only been a week and I already need to restock our Bitsy’s snack stash. // http://www.bitsys.com
Forest Coffee • CBD Cold Brew Coffee .:. The calming properties of CBD combined with the energizing effects of caffeine.. I was definitely curious to try this CBD infused cold brew. Each bottle contains 15mg of organic U.S. grown hemp CBD. Their small-batch coffee beans go through a lengthy process until they reach perfection and then are ground and cold brewed for an entire day resulting in smooth, chocolatey coffee with 60% less acidy than hot brewed coffee. This is concentrated, delicious cold brew.. Colorado style! // http://www.forestcoffeetrading.com
Pressery • Ramen Kits .:. Nothing like the well-known ramen noodles we’ve all had. These are fresh (not dried) organic ramen noodles made with slow-simmered bone broth (Shio Spicy Chicken flavor) and chickpea miso broth (Miso Veggie flavor). They can be made in less than 3 minutes and are a filling, super easy lunch on days you don’t have time to cook or meal prep. // http://www.pressery.com
Tiger Butter .:. First and foremost – what are tiger nuts?! They’re a root vegetable that don’t actually contains nuts. They’re packed with fiber and nutrients and make a super creamy, naturally sweet spread similar to peanut butter.. but healthier! This contains ground tiger nuts, coconut oil, vanilla extract, himalayan pink salt, and vitamin E. It makes THE best topping on rice cakes layered with fruit. // http://www.tigerbutterco.com
