Nomad Cosmetics Berlin Underground Palette

Behind Nomad Cosmetics is a husband and wife team who’ve visited over 70 countries and combined their love of cosmetics & traveling to create a brand that captures the unique, local character and beauty found throughout the world.

While this isn’t the first product I’ve tried of theirs, it’s the first one I noticed when recently browsing their website. I am always drawn to cool-tones & grungy shades and to me, this one fits both categories. The Berlin Underground Palette is formulated with extra-fine pigments and Hemp Seed Oil for a buttery smooth consistency and contains 15 metallic, satin, matte and duo-chrome shades inspired by the rebellious culture of Berlin.

Shades:

  • KREUZBERG – duo chrome iced yellow
  • SO36 – satin smokey olive
  • THE WALL – shimmer cement grey
  • EAST SIDE GALLERY – satin cool silver
  • TEKKNO – shimmer bronzed steel
  • NDW – soft matte punk green
  • HELDEN – shimmer mustard yellow
  • POOR BUT SEXY – shimmer golden rod
  • TACHELES – soft matte 70s burnt orange
  • LOVEPARADE – satin purple haze
  • DEUTSCHPUNK – metallic snake skin
  • CHAOSTAGE – satin golden brass
  • ORANIENSTRAßE – matte oxidized iron
  • HANSA – shimmer bronzed copper
  • KLUBNACHT – shimmer distressed black

These shadows are super soft and easy to blend out and don’t require any additional steps for maximum color payoff. I love the uniqueness of this color story and how beautiful it is. Shades like SO36 & The Wall stand out amongst the rest and are my two most used go-to shades when using this palette. The shade Oranienstrabe lightly blended in the crease, Klubnacht to deepen the outer corner and one of the buttery smooth metallics all over the lid is always how I use this palette.

Free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil and talc. It’s grungy, it’s bold and it’s perfect for Fall! And after scanning their entire website, I’m realizing I need to travel more! 😉
