Shared Planet – Makeup For a Cause

Shared Planet was started by 17 year old Aashna Sharma after traveling the world while growing up and turning her passion for makeup into something so much more. A way to give back and help a make a global difference. Shared Planet donates 10% of all profits to Panthera & Polar Bears International to help protect at risk animals and their habits. I absolutely love hearing about companies that give back, and its admirable to see someone so young make an impact.

The Polar Bear Collection is my personal favorite. I LOVE cool toned eyeshadows and this palette has unbelievably smooth mattes and super sparkly shimmers that look so so beautiful. I love that they included soft, muted tones in addition to intense shimmers that apply so effortlessly. This palette is different than anything I own and anything I’ve seen in a while. In addition to the palette there are also 2 lip glosses – Wintry & Hudson Bay. If you’re anything like me and mainly stick to neutral/nude glosses you may pass over these but I’m surprised to say that I really enjoy using Wintry on its own or overtop ANY other lip color to add extra shine.

The Tiger Collection is a warm tone lovers dream. This palette contains the same smooth buttery matte formula as the Polar Bear Palette, and several pops of metallic shimmers. My favorite shade in the entire palette is Lush. It’s a vibrant leafy green that looks so beautiful applied all on its own. The Tiger collection also includes 2 lip glosses; Big Cat & Ferocious. Both are very wearable and add such an impactful amount of shine.

I love finding smaller “indie” brands and this isn’t one to sleep on. High quality products from a company that gives back.. 🙌🏻👍🏻.
