My Spring Skincare Routine

I have been wearing WAY less makeup than I normally do and really focusing on taking care of my skin and can honestly say this is probably the most comfortable I’ve been without makeup in a reeeeeaaaallly long time. My latest skincare finds are from Tula Skincare. I tried a product of theirs years ago and have seen them mentioned on Instagram A LOT and was excited to try out some new-to-me highly rated & recommended products!

Super Calm Gentle Milk Cleanser ::: A super lightweight formula packed with good for you ingredients such as probiotics, cucumber, ginger, aloe & oatmeal. This cleanser is suitable for even the most sensitive of skin. I use this cleanser both morning & night to keep my skin clean & nourished.

Get Toned Pro-glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner ::: A must on days I wear makeup. This toner helps remove any excess product, dirt, oil, etc. It contains glycolic acid, natural mushroom & beet extract, turmeric extract & blueberry extract. It’s hydrating yet incredibly exfoliating and will tackle any buildup left behind after using a cleanser alone.

Detox in a Jar Exfoliating Treatment Mask ::: A clay-based mask containing probiotics, bentonite clay, lactic acid, blueberry extract & turmeric acid. It also includes biodegradable beads with jojoba & vitamin E to calm & soothe skin. I love using this 1-2 times a week when I’m doing a full “spa night at home”. It deeply cleans my skin while leaving it super nourished & balanced. Most definitely a go-to when my skin needs a little extra TLC.

Dew Your Thing Oil-Free Gel Cream ::: I think I was most intrigued by this product. While I use a face moisturizer daily, finding an oil-free, lighter (less heavy/greasy feeling) option is always welcome here. I only like thicker moisturizers as a night cream but this is ideal to use anytime even before applying makeup. It contains a hydra plant complex to lock in moisture for 72 hours, fermented rice water for the appearance of smaller pores and organic prickly pear extract to soothe, calm and reduce redness. This is my ideal formula when it comes to keeping my skin hydrated and healthy.

Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer ::: Saved the best for last. This has been one of the best products I’ve tried in all of 2020. It contains chia seeds, probiotics & licorice to smooth, even and nourish skin. While I rarely ever wear a makeup primer (I usually just use a good moisturizer) this product is game-changing. My favorite way to use it is to evenly distribute 2 pumps all over my face and smooth it in and apply my favorite Kosas concealer in areas that need extra coverage (spot conceal & under eyes). My skin always looks smooth, even and healthy without looking like a ton of makeup is caked on. It really is like a real life “filter” and while it doesn’t mimic actual foundation it gives the most beautiful finish for smooth, pore-less looking skin. I’m obsessed & need a lifetime supply of this.

All of Tula’s products are formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, gluten, fragrance, formaldehyde and preservatives. Their skincare collection is built on the power of probiotics & superfoods and the quality shows.
