First off, how is it even August already? Summer flew by. It always does though. As I mentioned in my last skincare post, I have been wearing WAY less makeup than I’m used to. Probably only 1-2 times a week at most and my skin is loving it.
The combination of less makeup + quality, cleaner skincare has made a huge difference in my skins health & appearance. Also sticking to a set group of products helps and not switching it up too often or continuously adding in new things. I’ve been using The Better Skin Co. It’s a Mirakle Saving Face Set for the entire month of July and love the easy 3-step routine.
• Gel Kleanse • Infused with charcoal to draw out impurities, French lava to slough away dead skin, green tea & aloe to soothe and hydrate and seaweed & vitamin C to boost overall skin health. It’s a really mild, gentle cleanser that is suitable for all skin types and can be used both morning and night. I wouldn’t consider this the type of cleaner that’s going to give you that “deep clean” feeling, but it’s great if you have sensitive skin or on no makeup days for that fresh face feeling.
• Epik C Serum • The combination of Majestem, vitamin C and PhytoVie help brighten, tighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. Using a serum is my favorite step in my routine and the one that I’ve found makes the biggest difference for me. While I can’t speak on whether it helps minimize the appearance of wrinkles, I can say that it does help brighten skin. Vitamin C is one of my favorite ingredients in skincare!
• Mirakle Cream • The miracle product that started it all. The founder of The Better Skin Co. created this recipe in Uzebekistan before coming to the U.S. and quickly noticed the demand and started an entire company because of its success. It’s packed with ingredients like coconut oil, Shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe, sea buckthorn, algae, peptides and hyaluronic acid to soothe, moisturize and help the skin appear smoother & radiant. It’s a really rich cream and a little goes a long way. I prefer using it at night before bed as my last step in my routine so it can work it’s magic while I sleep.
