I had the coolest opportunity today to be apart of the Too Faced That’s My Jam Masterclass hosted by their global beauty director, Elyse. She discussed some of their new Spring launches and we all got a chance to test out their new That’s My Jam Mini Eyeshadow Palette!

They generously sent over a box of products to try a week or so ago and I was excited to try out a new launch and love the simplicity of makeup minis. They recently launched several palettes; Be My Lover, Light My Fire, Let’s Play, Kitty Likes To Scratch and That’s my Jam. Although I love neutrals over anything, I was drawn to That’s My Jam for its unique color story and eye catching duo chrome shimmer shades.

With the exception of the shade Jam On It (bottom right), the mattes apply super smoothly. Jam On It seemed a bit patchier and took more building to get even color payoff. The shimmer shades in this palette are interesting. Violet Femmes (purple shimmer) is one of the most beautiful pops of purple duo chrome colors I’ve seen. Jam Session & We Be Jammin’ apply easily while the shade Pick Up Limes applies best as a sheer topper. The formula is kind of flaky and it doesn’t have an opaque undertone as the other shimmers do. I find that they all apply best with your fingertips over a brush and they do last all day with setting spray.

The palette was inspired by freshly picked berries and has a subtle scent that dissipates as the shadows are applied. In the picture below I applied the shadows as follows: Spread It in the crease, Jam On It on my lower lash line and Violet Femmes dabbed all over the lid. It took me less than 2 minutes with minimal effort and was a fun way to amp up my otherwise daily neutral makeup look.

This is such a beautiful palette! All very usable colours. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! For such bright colors I think they’re very wearable too!!
AHHHH I actually love the look of this palette so much even though I’m not the type to spend money on high-end products and Too Faced is definitely high end. I saw this palette on TrendMood and I was like wow – looks so good!
