June Beauty & Skincare Favorites

WOW, so I have been totally slacking with blogging lately. I just moved 800 miles from New Jersey to Nashville and have been going non-stop the past 2 weeks trying to settle in, unpack and make my new house feel like home. Since a lot of my stuff was packed away, I’ve been using a lot of the same products for May/June and even the first week of July so far. Here’s a list of everything in beauty & skincare that I’ve been loving lately!

Boscia Luminizing Black Mask »» This has been a cult-favorite for years. Why did I wait like 5 years to jump on the bandwagon? It’s hard to find a mask as deep cleansing as this that doesn’t dry your skin out like crazy or mimic those crazy painful peel off masks that have gone viral on YouTube. It applies as a thick creamy paste and peels off easily, and painlessly. It leaves my skin feeling really smooth and completely clean and you can actually see all the “build-up” it removes from your skin. // http://www.boscia.com

The Brow Gal »» I’m not big on buying a ton of brow products (pencils & powders) because I do think that a lot of contour & eyeshadow products work well to fill in brows. So I do enjoy this product but don’t think its 100% necessary. What I do love is a highlighting pencil. It adds such a precise line to really help sculpt & define a perfectly shaped brow. This pencils formula is really creamy and leaves behind a soft highlight. It blends out beautifully with your fingers and is great to throw in your travel makeup bag, Add a little bit of their clear eyebrow gel to lock & set everything in place for ALL day wear. // http://www.thebrowgal.com

Lumene Pure Arctic Miracle 3-in-1 Cleansing Micellar Water »» Who else loves finding a really inexpensive, affordable beauty/skincare product that actually works better than some of its competitors that are 4-5x the cost?! This is less than $8, completely removes face, eye and lip makeup without pulling/tugging your skin like a traditional makeup wipe would. I use this as the first step at night before cleansing my skin. It contains nourishing birch sap to leave your skin hydrated and is suitable for sensitive skin (I can attest to this!). // http://www.lumene.com

Amazing Cosmetics Concealer »» So, I’m kind of torn on calling this or my Wander Beauty concealer my favorite? As much as I LOVE the Wander beauty one, this one comes in a much bigger variety, caters to EVERY skin tone you can think of (20+ shades) and covers every single spot, blemish, dark circle, or redness. It blends out seamlessly and is super concentrated, a little goes a long way, so one tube will last me a really, really long time! It looks really natural and not cakey like many, many other concealers that I’ve tried. And it’s water resistant which is fabulous for summer-time! // http://www.amazingcosmetics.com

Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind Illuminating Highlighters »» I can honestly say I love these SO much more than my ABH glow kit. The colors suit my skin tone better and I just think they apply so beautifully. I love finding smaller companies that can compete & compare with the big named brands. It’s nice to try a new product, support a smaller company and find something that’s even better than you’d ever expect! Jessica is an established MUA that created a truly artisanal collection of color cosmetics that look as beautiful as they perform. These highlights are buildable, which I prefer, so you can have as intense of a highlight as you prefer or a subtle one if that’s your thing. I can’t get over how pretty the shade range is and reach for these daily! // http://www.vintagecosmetics.com

Wander Beauty Secret Escape Kit »» I’ve mentioned probably too many times that I do my makeup on-the-go more often than not. This is an awesome kit for those of us who always seem to be in a pinch but still want to look polished and pulled together. It contains my favorite product of theirs, the exquisite eye shadow in champagne, it’s amazing and I’ve mentioned it in my 2016 top 20 beauty favorites. Also, their Glow Getter Mist, it provides an instant glow and leaves skin feeling hydrated and refreshed and lastly, the Beach Balm in Sangria which doubles as a cream blush and lip balm. // http://www.wanderbeauty.com

Primally Pure Lavender Deodorant »» Absolutely obsessed. Switching to natural deodorant has been on my mind lately and I am so glad to have found this product. I used a natural deodorant years ago from a different brand that dried my skin out like crazy and left a red rash behind (sorry if that’s TMI), not the case with this. These contain good-for-you quality ingredients such as powerful organic coconut oil + tallow from grass-fed cows. Every ingredient is pure & natural so you can rest assured you’re not putting any harmful chemicals on your skin. Because it doesn’t contain any gland clogging chemicals, it won’t keep you from sweating, but it will keep you smelling clean & fresh! // http://www.primallypure.com

Treets Healing in Harmony Bath Tea »» I am addicted to lavender, I cannot get enough of it lately! This bath tea combines oatmeal flakes + lavender to calm irritated skin and help you fully relax. Lavender + a hot bath = two of my favorite things ever. These are free of parabens, silicones, artificial colorants, and mineral oils. It smells amazing and is the perfect “treat” to unwind to right before bed. // http://www.treets.com

Beautaniq Beauty Sheet Masks »» The newest additions to my sheet mask collection. The Nourish + Hydrate mask contains lotus seed, bamboo extract, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. This adds gives my skin just enough hydration without leaving a greasy feeling behind. And my favorite of the two, the Radiant Glow mask contains papaya leaf enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids to brighten and even skin tone. I love using these when I’m getting ready for something important and want my makeup to apply flawlessly. They are the equivalent to a good moisturizer, serum & primer and foundation applies so smoothly after using these sheet masks. // http://www.beautaniqbeauty.com

Sky Organics Dead Sea Mud Mask »» Last but definitely not least, one of the best mud masks I’ve ever used. I’ve tried a bunch of products from this brand and prefer them over SO many better known (less healthy chemical filled) products. This is truly a brand that isn’t praised or talked about enough! The mud mask is a really rich, thick texture of shea butter, sunflower oil, aloe vera, in addition to several organic oils. It’s amazing as a spot treatment or an all over face mask when your skin could use some much needed TLC. It removes toxins and built up dead skin cells, fights aging and even helps clear up acne. It’s one of my go-to masks when my skin is all out of whack and needs a powerful product to get the job done. // http://www.skyorganics.com
