Just in time for the holidays LORAC has released this beautiful capsule collection in collaboration with fashion icon, Rachel Zoe. It’s chic, overtly sparkly and exactly what you’d expect from a collection designed with vintage Hollywood glam in mind.
If you’re looking for an impactful, beaming highlight, you’ll enjoy the Face & Body Diamond Dust ($25). In the pan it appears to just be a white highlight with micro glitter but once applied it transforms into a creamy intense glow with a silvery, icy shift. If you don’t like glitter in your highlighter, this probably won’t be your thing. This would also make for a great body highlighter as the pan size is huge. They’ve also released a super soft Diamond Shine Face & Body Brush ($25) that makes applying this to your shoulders and décolletage a breeze.
In this collection there are also several lip sets, the two I’ve tried are the Diamond Disco Gloss Trio Moonlight-Kiss ($15) and the Diamond Disco Gloss Trio All Day Glamour ($15). These are high shine, ultra sparkly and contain a selection of semi-sheer shades in clear, neutral, subtle tones with the exception of the shade Moon Dust.

And lastly, the star of the show; the 6-pan Hollywood Glamour Mini Eyeshadow Palettes ($15/each). These are about the size of a credit card and are probably the cutest palettes ever and contain so much more than what you’d expect for their size. They all contain a variety of textures, from LORAC’s infamous buttery smooth mattes to creamy metallics and gorgeous pressed glitters. And not a single palette lacks pigmentation. I was impressed by the quality and well thought-out color stories in each.

In addition to the products mentioned above, LORAC’s website shows a handful of other pieces all listed at $25 or less per product. This was one of my favorite launches of LORAC’s in a while and was well-planned all around. The packaging is fun and trendy and these products would make fabulous gifts for the makeup lover on your list!
