Elvis+Elvin Floral Brightening Anti-Pollution Foundation

I came across Elvis+Elvin on Instagram and was excited to find a clean beauty brand that offered not only a full range of skincare products, but makeup as well. I am pretty much convinced that I could totally ditch traditional makeup for cleaner brands and be just fine. The industry has grown so much over the last few years and so have the amount of amazing product offerings.

After reading the ingredients of the Floral Brightening Anti-Pollution Foundation, I was really intrigued. Ingredients like squalane provide antioxidant properties, ectoin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, rose flower wax to soften & soothe skin, Pearl powder to fade blemishes, niacinamide to protect and regenerate, allantoin for healing, daisy flower extract to lighten and even skin tone, mastic gum to fight shininess, and grape fruit cell extract to protect skin from UV stress. It’s a medium to full coverage finish depending on how much coverage you want and leaves a soft matte finish. It’s not overly cakey, or heavy and I prefer it applied best with a damp beauty sponge for lighter coverage that looks more natural but still covers any uneven discoloration.

I also tried their Floral Silky Cream Blush. It comes in a shade range of 9, and a creamy, nourishing formula enriched with fullerene c & botanical plant extracts to moisturize and fight against free radicals. Cream blushes can be tricky to work with. I find these to work best when lightly dabbed on the cheeks with your fingertips and then blended out with a beautyblender if needed. They add a bright pop of color perfect for Spring & Summer and leave behind a dewy glow.
