Kevyn Aucoin ELECTROPOP Eyeshadow Palette

After writing what feels like a million gift guides, attending & hosting several Christmas parties, all the cooking, the decorating, the gift searching.. I am totally ready to get back to my everyday routine. The holidays are so much fun but boy do they take a whole lot of effort and energy! I’ve been on a huge organizing and decluttering spree all across my house and came across this beauty while putting away my newer makeup and felt it needed some recognition on my blog!

Kevyn Aucoin is iconic in the makeup industry, and the more products of theirs that I try, I can totally see why the brand has a cult following. After trying my first product of theirs – the neo-highlighter, I was hooked. This brand deserves all the hype & screams luxury to me and the new ELECTROPOP Pro Eyeshadow Palette is no exception.

This is the first of it’s kind in my eyeshadow collection. I have a few shimmery eyeshadow singles from Urban Decay, but don’t have any other palette that consists solely of metallic bold colors. This palette takes shimmery metallic shades to a whole new level. The consistency is so rich and pure it feels exactly like a cream based product (but isn’t!) upon swatching it. While you can use a brush, I find these apply best with your fingertips and the colors are so vibrant and add such a wow factor to any look. I’ve been on a matte shadow kick lately and this may sway me to use more color. Although at first glance this probably looks like something you’d use once in a while, the top two rows are very wearable everyday, any day. Just a dab of one of these shades on the center of your eyelid is enough to kick any eyeshadow look up a notch.

With the exception of the pink shade in the middle row, second to the left – every shade applies smoothly with minimal effort and intense color payoff. It’s not a bad color just not as intense and is a chunkier consistency. These are a beautiful way to add a bright pop of color and the quality can’t be beat. AND – that bright purple shade in the bottom row… does it get any more beautiful than that?! NOPE! 🙂 Kevyn Aucoin is becoming one of my favorite makeup brand and I am pretty much obsessed with this palette! XO.
