Kevyn Aucoin Pure Powder Glow Blushes

When I think of luxury makeup, Kevyn Aucoin is one of the first names to come to mind. I can admit, I have an unhealthy blush obsession. I have way more than any one person truly needs but I’m a makeup enthusiast to the core and somehow keep managing to collect more! Some of my newest being the Kevyn Aucoin The Pure Powder Glow Blushes.

These are packaged in a sleek mirrored small compact (who else is drawn to beautiful packaging?!) that just feels expensive & luxe. They come in 7 shades; Shadore (soft pink), Dolline (apricot), Myracle (hot pink), Fira (mango), Natura (neutral), Ariana (neutral warm) and Helena (neutral cool).

Processed with MOLDIV

Kevyn Aucoin powders (not just their blushes) have a soft, silky, velvety texture and are so finely milled and lightweight. They blend out seamlessly and effortlessly and melt into your skin. When applied with a light hand these offer a soft wash of color or can easily be built up for a more vibrant effect. I am totally anti-bright blush (no clown cheeks over here) and love a product that doesn’t cling to my skin instantly. Take note: these are highly pigmented, (you’ve been warned) and may not be for the average makeup novice. Use a very light hand and soft fluffy blush and these will sheer out easily and last you FOREVER. My two most reached for shades are Ariana & Helena (cool-toned makeup is so underrated) and love the natural, toned-down flush of color they add. And, they last all day long on your skin.

I love that they have a shade for every skin tone and have both subtle and bold colors. The formula and finish are stunning and in true Kevyn Aucoin fashion these do not disappoint. Which are your favorites?! Xo.
