NEW Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighters + Glitter & Glow Highlighters

Stila just dropped a whole lot of glow on the beauty industry by releasing their new Glitter & Glow Highlighters and new shades of their infamous putty-like Heaven’s Hue Highlighters.

I never ever apply blush/bronzer/highlight or any type of face product bare-faced without any type of foundation or BB cream underneath. However – this is the type of product you can get away with doing so without it looking out of place. The putty texture is so creamy and offers a light sheen that looks so natural once applied. I noticed these apply best either tapped on with your finger or with a densely packed brush. If you’re looking for a great everyday staple highlighter that gives a natural radiant glow vs. a glittery strobing type of highlight, this won’t disappoint. In addition to their most-loved shade, Kitten, my favorite is Brilliance. Golden, champagne toned highlighters are universally flattering and what I find the most flattering on myself and reach for the most.

These come in 6 shades and the 3 new shades are:

-Brilliance: creates a golden, candlelight glow
-Magnificence: creates a peach, lit from within, warm flush
-Opulence: creates a sheer, fresh white pearl opalescence

If subtlety isn’t your thing and you’re looking to kick it up a notch, Stila’s got you covered girl! The Glitter & Glow Highlighters are THE most blinding thing that will ever grace your cheeks. They’re water infused with a sheer base and a mix of pearls & flecks of glitter. The texture and consistency reminds me a lot of the Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows, the difference being the liquid eyeshadow has a pigment base where as these are meant to add multi-dimensional shine without laying down saturated color. While these are a little out of my everyday comfort zone, I enjoy using them more overtop of eyeshadow much like the liquid eyeshadows. They set quickly and lock in place ALL day long.

Shades:
-Kitten (Nude pink with silver and champagne sparkle)
-Monarch (Baby pink with green, pink and silver sparkle)
-Admiral (Mint green with icy blue and violet sparkle)
-Painted Lady (Burnished coral with gold and peach sparkle)
-Queen (Iridescent pink with pink and purple sparkle)

Queen Glitter & Glow Highlighter swatched next to the Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow and the Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow for comparison.

While there certainly is no shortage of highlighting products on the market, Stila did an awesome job at creating two unique products that are completely different than what we’re used to seeing. Xo.

  1. I got these one in Kitten and I love the formula. It is pretty unique I think even with so much to choose from. I see I might need a few more shades here 😉

  2. Those eyeshadows look absolutely GORGEOUS. Like I feel like I need them right now. Not tomorrow, NOW. I feel like liquid formulas with glitter stay put better.
