PUR x BoxyCharm Palette & Visionary Palette <3

I know I’m not alone when I say that PUR deserves a lot more praise. Since trying their 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation over 10 years ago, I’ve loved this brand! They have released some amazing products over the last year and I’m really excited to see the direction they’re headed and what’s in store in the upcoming months.

::: PUR Visionary Palette :::

Out of all the new PUR releases lately, the Visionary Palette is probably my favorite. It’s similar to the Creator’s Palette in formula and that each pan can is removable, which I appreciate because I’ve been really into the idea of creating my own custom palette lately. I love rosy, mauve tones and this formula is amazing. These are the perfect “everyday glam” shades and this is an ideal palette for weddings or other special occasions. The foiled shadows are SO richly pigmented and a really smooth, creamy consistency. Like most foiled eyeshadows, you get the best color payoff by applying them with your finger vs a brush. The formula is consistent throughout and there isn’t a single shade that lacks pigment. I’ve been reaching for this constantly and highly recommend checking it out!

::: PUR x BoxyCharm Palette :::

I love that one of the latest trends in makeup are eyeshadow palettes with bold pops of blue. It’s fun, different and there’s no better time to embrace wearing uniquely bright colors than Summer! In addition to the two colorful standout shades (MIA & BFF) the PUR x BoxyCharm Palette offers an array of neutrals in matte and shimmer finishes. My only complaint with this palette is that the shades Nakey, Belle & Squad are all very similar in tone, I wish they would have added another pop of color to make this palette even more versatile than it already is. Overall, it’s a beautiful palette and using that blue is a fun way to step out of the neutral-rut and add some color. Side note: if you received this palette in your BoxyCharm subscription, you scored a great deal! This alone is making me want to try out BoxyCharm.

I love that PUR is one of the cleaner makeup brands and that they are cruelty-free, gluten-free, talc-free & vegan.
