Nourish Beauty Box // May 2018

Subscription boxes can be hit or miss. Some are so affordable and contain a bunch of unique products well worth their value, and others… not so much. I’ve tried one too many beauty subscription boxes that are expensive and contain a ton of sample sized randomness. However, Nourish Beauty Box is one of the only boxes I’ve tried in a while that I love every product included and the fact that it’s completely toxin-free! As we know, there’s a monthly subscription for everything from makeup, skincare, wine, yoga clothes, coffee, kid stuff, pet stuff and even socks! 😉 There really is something for everyone, and it’s an awesome way to try & test out new products you may not have known about.

Subscription Type: A gluten-free, natural, vegan & toxin-free beauty box. Cost: $29.95/month. Monthly, 3-month & 6-month prepaid plans available. What’s included: 4 full size chemical-free artisan products.

Starting off with my favorite product in this months box, which I was really surprised about. I usually steer clear of face oils because more often than not they make my skin break out. This one is infused with dried rose buds, safflower, rapeseed, rice bran and  raw sweet almond oils. With only a few drops needed, this will completely hydrate your skin without leaving a greasy feeling. I also love warming up a few drops between my hands and applying it to my damp hair before styling. It makes my hair SO soft and helps tame frizzy flyaways.

I’ve been using the Seraphine Botanicals Sugar + Lemon Lip Buffer daily before applying ANY lip products. It smooths and preps your lips and smells soooooo good!

Also from Seraphine Botanicals is the Lychee + Gold Healthy Glow Rose-Gold Blush. It’s 99% natural, made from lychee, mangosteen, chamomile and ginger root extracts and is talc-free. This isn’t a very pigmented blush, so it’s great if you’re heavy handed or looking for a beginner blush. It leaves a soft rose gold sheen and looks very natural on the cheeks. I’m really interested in trying more from this brand.

Sheet masks are everywhere lately and a fun way to pamper your skin and force yourself to sit down and relax for a few minutes. This one is biodegradable and packed with skin conditioning ingredients and I left it on for a few extra minutes to let my skin fully absorb everything for added hydration! AND – I can officially say it’s been 6 weeks since I stopped biting my nails (old habits die hard) and am constantly painting & repainting my nails to not only make them look nicer but to make sure I don’t fall back into the habit. So I’m a newbie at the whole nail polish/manicure thing, but love this color for summer!
