I am always up for trying a new blush. I don’t go a day without wearing it and when I saw how affordable these are (less than $10!) and how wearable the colors are, I knew I had to give these Burt’s Bees blushes a go!
Burt’s Bees blushes are 100% natural, made with vitamin E, bamboo & honey. They come in three shades: Bare Peach (my fave), Shy Pink & Toasted Cinnamon. As mentioned in a previous post, I’m trying to rid my makeup collection of chemical infused products, and these are free of parabens, phthalates, SLS, petrolatum, synthetic fragrances and are cruelty-free. Yay!
The texture is really smooth & silky and so blendable which is a MUST when it comes to blush. In my opinion – overly pigmented blush is never a good thing. I couldn’t tell you how many times over the last few years that I’ve over applied blush only to ruin my entire makeup with unflattering bold clown cheeks… so not for me! However, this formula applies evenly and the result is quite sheer (but buildable) and looks so natural on the skin no matter how heavy handed you are. The finish is somewhere right between a satin/matte but with no glitter or glow. I also found that these lasted on my cheeks throughout the entire day.
