Undeniably so, back in 2010 the original Naked Palette revolutionized the makeup world, and earned a place on vanities across the globe. It was one of the best-selling, most popular and replicated palettes ever and was sadly discontinued in late 2018. Although the OG is no longer available, it’s been replaced with the Naked Reloaded Palette containing an array of fresh newly formulated, updated shades that is an everyday staple just as its predecessor was.
Offering a variety of universal nudes that create an endless array of everyday neutral AND some smoky dramatic looks. Tried & true, Urban Decay consistently creates high-quality eyeshadows that are very easy to work with (minimal fallout IMO) and good pigmentation. The mattes apply effortlessly and build so easy, the shimmers aren’t overly “punchy” but offer a pretty sheen and the shades Angel Fire & Dreamweaver are a bit of a chunkier formula that work best applied with your fingers and look so beautiful layered overtop any of the other shades.
Shades:
- Bribe (warm ivory matte)
- Barely Baked (soft gold metallic)
- Angel Fire (pale rose-gold w/iridescent micro-shimmer)
- Retro (bright peach matte)
- Reputation (deep rose-gold w/ iridescent micro-shimmer)
- Burn (copper-burgundy metallic)
- End Game (chocolate brown matte)
- Dreamweaver (cool brown w/ iridescent 3D sparkle)
- Distilled (bronze metallic)
- Bucked (warm brown matte)
- Boundaries (warm terracotta matte)
- Blur (light nude matte)
Urban Decay has one of the most user friendly formulas that are great for beginners or pros alike, and the Naked Palettes prove that time after time. I love that they made the shades they felt would get the most use larger and made the packaging really sleek and compact, which we all can appreciate.
Overall, it covers all the bases when it comes to neutral with a touch of glam, and is a palette ANYONE can get down with, no matter your skill level or comfort zone. Neutral palettes are my thing and this has earned a permanent place in my collection. 👍🏻
