I’ve stepped back from writing as many makeup reviews because I started to feel like I was contributing to the very thing I don’t like in beauty industry; consumerism. There are an excessive amount of new launches releasing constantly. It’s incredibly wasteful and unrealistic to keep up with. I’m limiting my makeup collection to only things I love and will use consistently and Aether Beauty has earned a permanent spot.
If this is your first time hearing of Āether Beauty here’s a little info on this game-changing brand: Founder Tiila Abbitt spent 7 years in product development for Sephora and saw first hand the lack of clean beauty options and created a brand focused on using the highest quality ingredients available and made sustainability a priority. They are the first ever brand to create zero-waste fully recyclable eyeshadow palettes formulated with fair-trade & organic ingredients that are vegan and cruelty-free.
I’ve reviewed all four of their palettes thus far and love every single one but the new Amethyst Crystal Gemstone Palette might just be my favorite, and that says A LOT because their original Rose Quartz Gemstone Palette was my #1 most used, everyday palette. But this new one, it’s unique and has the most flattering shades of purple you could ever want. It’s stunning. It has just enough color to make it interesting but subdued enough to pass off as “neutral” in its own way. I love it and can’t get enough of the muted purple shades.
The formula and quality are consistent throughout the brand and THE best when it comes to eyeshadow formulas, and not just amongst other clean beauty brands. It’s VERY easy to use, blends effortlessly and lasts pretty much an entire day on my lids (about 7-8 hours without primer). The mostly monochromatic color story comes in 4 finishes: matte, shimmer, duo-chrome & metallic and contains Amethyst Powder (to purify & vitalize the skin while also illuminating the skin with its light reflective properties), Organic Lavender Oil (for its soothing affects) and Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil (to reduce redness). There isn’t a dud in this palette and I pretty much have reached for this every single day since I’ve gotten it.
I LOVE everything about Āether Beauty, and highly suggest supporting a brand who not only puts out the highest quality product, but one who is truly making a difference in the world.
