So glad to see March arrive and Spring almost make its debut this year! Along with the change of season comes tons of new makeup releases.. would we expect anything less nowadays?! One of my favorite Spring 2020 new products are the KvD Vegan Beauty Everlasting Blushes & Lip Creams.
The Everlasting Blushes come in 6 intensely pigmented shades in a soft matte finish. If I had to use one word to describe this collection as a whole it’d be – bold. They come in a range of depths to compliment every skin tone but even the lighter shades are PIGMENTED. Like the tiniest amount of product is needed to achieve a bright rosy glow. My favorite shade of the 3 that I’ve tried is definitely Foxglove (described as a dusty rose). I also have Poppy (vibrant blood orange) and Snapdragon (coco crimson). Both which will better suit a deeper skin tone and are too dark for my light/medium complexion. If you love an intense blush or are comfortable using a very pigmented powder you will absolutely love these. If subtlety is more of your thing when it comes to blush, the lighter shades may work for you when applied with a VERY light hand. The beautiful packaging alone has me excited for warmer weather and freshly bloomed flowers!
In addition to the blushes, KVD also launched their XO Vinyl Lip Cream in 6 vegan shades. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked these. I’ve mentioned before that I’m strictly a nude lip gloss kind of girl and very rarely do I use anything else. While these are considered a gloss, they differ in the sense that they’re extremely opaque and way longer lasting than most glosses I’ve tried. I have them in the 3 most wearable shades (in my opinion) and prefer the shade Blossom (nude beige) over their cult-fave, best-selling Lolita (chestnut rose) or Carnation (antique rose). For me, Blossom falls under the shade category of “your lips but better” – a nude, everyday wearable color that lasts for hours and hours.

I want to try out Kat Von D products. I like that this line is vegan, too. This was a nice post.
