Winter Skincare Must Haves – MUTHA

Created by a mother to help other moms feel their best and prioritize self-care. MUTHA’s beloved Body Butter started it all and the line grew to include a wide range of products all designed to help moms care for themselves. 5% of all sales go to help midwife and nurse education programs and non profit organizations.

If you would have told me that I’d grow to love facial oils years ago I wouldn’t have believed you. As someone who for the longest time has had oily prone skin (which has lessened over the years), using a facial oil would have been my last thought for healthy, balanced skin. The Mutha Face Oil is packed with omega fatty acids, antioxidants and active nutrients such as: Tsubaki, Kalahari and Borage Seed Oil to deeply hydrate, stimulate cell turnover and lock in moisture. It contains natural origin ingredients and is scented with Jasmine Oil Extract which took me a little while to get used to. What I enjoy about this oil is how quickly it absorbs into my skin and it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling behind.

As far as body products, I usually keep it to a minimum and usually only during the winter. If you’re currently using a body butter or lotion that isn’t getting the job done, a powerful body oil like this will work wonders on dry skin. Loaded with vitamins & 100% botanical seed oils (rosehip, apricot, jojoba, olive & sweet almond oil to name a few). It has a subtle citrus scent and deeply hydrates & soothes skin. This body oil + a hot bath are a great way to create a spa night at home while treating your skin!

Skincare is an easy way to prioritize self-care and adding in a few luxe products will help amp up your routine. I look forward to my evening skincare routine and with these my dry Winter skin definitely does too!
