I am always excited to see a new blush release and when I came across the Scott Barnes new blush singles, I was totally on board. Six shades ranging from subtle to impactful, designed to be layered to create your perfect hue. This collection truly takes intimidating to approachable in such a unique way.

Upon reviving these I was immediately drawn to the shade Minimalist. I am all about neutral, subdued makeup.. always have been, always will be. Neutral will NEVER go out of style. I also was intrigued by the shade Mango Fizz. The orange hue adds such a pretty flush of color on the cheeks and screams summer to me. Ultra Pink kind of looks intimidating in the pan, it’s a cool-toned bubble gum pink, but blends out beautifully on the cheeks. Samba Sass leans coral/pink and is shimmery. Plastic Pink is 1000% out of my comfort zone and way too pigmented and bold for my taste, but I like that he included something bright, it really stands out amongst of sea of neutral pinks. The shade Plumeria, although yellow and probably not the average persons first choice in blush colors, layers so well with ANY of the other blush shades to change the overall tone. It’s the coolest thing.

I love the color selection, the long lasting formula, the clear packaging, and the versatility of these blushes. There truly is something for everyone and if you aren’t set on one specific shade you can easily create your perfect blush tone by mixing and matching.
