PUR Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eye Shadow Palette

I feel like PUR is one of those brands that doesn’t get as much well-deserved recognition as some of these other big-named Sephora brands do. Their Love Your Selfie 2 palette was one of my top 20 beauty products for 2016 so when I saw they came out with a new marble packaged neutral palette… well you already know I had to have it.

First off… the packaging. If I were to ever create my own beauty line this is exactly how I would design the packaging. Absolutely beautiful!

If you already have a ton of palettes, particularly neutral toned ones, you might not be over the top excited for this. What’s so special about another nude palette in an already over-saturated market of them? It’s all about personal preference, each brand brings different qualities to the table, different shades, performance and price.

The shimmery shades are my favorite, the consistency feels almost creamy upon application and blends out seamlessly. When applied wet the color becomes much more vibrant, almost metallic-like.

PUR is one brand that I can agree with their pricing. $34 for 12 shades (4 matte/4 satin/4 shimmer) is reasonable in my opinion. Who else is totally over these insanely over priced palettes that you’re basically just paying for the name brand? These blend out so easily, are beautifully pigmented, last for hours with minimal creasing and is a staple for everyday use. This palette is not too warm, but not too cool and contains every neutral-toned shade you could possibly need. Do you need another neutral eyeshadow palette in your collection? Most likely not, but if you want one, this one is a fabulous choice.
