Aside from the infamous Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows (which I am obsessed with) I have never tried any eyeshadows from Stila. However, as soon as I saw pictures of this palette – I was hooked. If you’re someone who tends to stick with neutrals but wants a soft pop of color thats not too bold, this palette is for you. The cooler, light jewel-tones are totally up my alley and within my comfort zone but still make wearing neutral (ish) eyeshadow fun.
“These pro-artist curated neutral hues and pop pastels are definitely meant to mix and mingle! All 12 shades are specially formulated with micronized, silicone-treated pigments for superior blending and ultra-rich, uniform color and dimension.”

First impressions: I’m impressed. The mattes are creamy and blendable with good pigmentation. But the real star of the show are the cosmic glitter shades.. they’re amazing. The formula is creamy and dense and the pigmentation is next level. While they do give a bit of fallout you’re getting an incredibly bold metallic finish. I find using a damp brush or your fingers to apply helps minimize fallout and maximize color payoff. Standout shades: Cosmo, Sangria, Sapphire Sizzle and Top Shelf. With the exception of Highball (that shade took a bit of work to build up) every color applies effortlessly. I am loving the beautiful light pastel/jewel tones, the buttery smooth formula and intense color payoff this palette offers. A++ for Stila.
