To be totally honest, I’m not a huge fan of MOST beauty subscription boxes. The market is saturated with them and many of them just… aren’t that good. While I love the concept of receiving fun, new products every month, I like full-sized GOOD products that I get a chance to fully use up to see whether or not I like them and want to give them a permanent place on my vanity. So far I have received two boxes from Glossybox and can honestly say this is the best beauty subscription box for the money that contains full-sized, quality products that are actually worth it – and it’s exciting to see what new goodies you’ll be surprised with each month!
October 2017’s box included the following:
Clove + Hallow Lip Glaze in Spicy / $7 ::: Ironically, I was browsing this companies website the night before I received this box and was excited to find it in this months box. The color is a bold, bright red and the formula is hydrating and comfortable for all day wear.
Lue By Jean Seo Erase Cleansing Powder / $15 ::: As messy as it can be, I love powder based skincare. You can mix this with water, yogurt, honey.. whatever suits your skin type. It’s milk & oat based and leaves your skin super smooth & soft and is suitable for sensitive skin as well.
Vasanti Eyeshadow Brush / $21 ::: I am all about adding new makeup brushes to my collection. You can never have enough! This one is good at packing on eyeshadow but the cost on its own seems a little too steep.
Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Featherlight Styling Cream / $26 ::: I haven’t had a chance to use this yet, but it claims to help tame frizz and that’s one of my biggest hair concerns so I’m sure this will get tons of use.
Rituals USA Happy Buddha Shower Foam / $15 ::: And, last but definitely not least, my favorite product included. The sweet orange & cedar wood scent is pure heaven and foaming shower gels are my #1 go-to shower essential. This scent screams fall and definitely has a permanent spot in my shower, I can’t get enough!
The monthly plan costs $21, and so far I am impressed with Glossybox. What are your favorite subscription boxes?! Xo.
