Smashbox + Vlada Cover Shot Petal Metal Eyeshadow Palette

If you’re completely over the unicorn & mermaid trends, you’ll be excited to see that Smashbox switched it up introducing their latest collaboration with makeup artist Vlada Haggerty which contains tons of dazzling rose gold tones and is a neutral-lovers dream – AMPED UP! And, as an added bonus everything is packaged in Vlada’s metallic artwork making the collection that much better.

While the entire 9 piece collection is beautiful, the eyeshadow palette appealed to me the most. First, eyeshadows are my favorite thing when it comes to makeup, second, these are my ideal, go-to type of colors. I have several other cover shot palettes, but this is definitely my favorite of them all. These eyeshadows are so richly pigmented, and look stunning whether applied with a brush or fingertips.

As with all of the Cover Shot palettes, they’re tiny in size & perfect for traveling.  Although it doesn’t contain a bunch of bright, stand out colorful eyeshadows, it contains such beautiful and pigmented shimmer shades in perfect everyday rose gold hues, which are my personal favorite! Another thing I really love about this palette is that it contains 2 matte shades (a must), one that works well as a crease/transition color and one that works as a shade to deepen the outer portion of your lid. I always apply a matte nude/beige shade as a transition shade, then a shimmery/metallic shade all over my eyelids and then a darker brown to my outer V for dimension. So immediately upon looking at this, I knew it had everything I need.

If you’ve been eyeing this limited edition collection – get it before it’s gone. And take my word, you don’t want to miss out on this one! Xo.

FYI ** As always, my reviews are not paid and are based on my own opinion, personal use and results.
