The Newest Additions to the Urban Decay Stay Naked Collection

New year, new makeup! Urban Decay recently released 2 new additions to their existing Stay Naked collection and I must say, I’m totally blown away by how much I am loving every single one of them. This is a great line of products for anyone who wants the flattering effects of a full face of makeup but in the most natural looking way.

The new Stay Naked The Fix powder foundation comes in 24 shades and offers medium buildable coverage in a matte finish and claims to last up to 16 hours wear time. They’ve added moringa seed oil to the formula for its anti-anting and anti-inflammatory properties and also included a charcoal infused sponge (stored separately underneath the powder) to help soak up excess oil and keep your skin matte and oil-free. I am surprised to say that I actually really love this powder. I’ve primarily used Kat Von D’s Lock-It Finishing Powder or Lock-It Powder Foundation for the last few years and can say that I’ve taken a break with them and been reaching for this more recently. While I don’t really use powder foundations all that much on their own, I prefer to layer them over top of a liquid foundation to set my makeup in place (and mattify my skin) and for a tiny bit of extra coverage. This one does just that – not too heavy, not super powdery and doesn’t look cakey AT ALL. I’m impressed.

In addition to the powder foundation they also released the new Stay Naked Threesome Palette. It’s a bronze, blush & highlight palette that comes in 3 shades (pictured is Rise). It’s pretty and I love the compact size, this is my kind of product when it comes to traveling. No need to overpack individual bulky products, just throw this small palette in your bag and you’re good to go. The formula is really light and easy to work with and builds really well so you don’t have to worry about over doing it.

This also was my first time trying out their Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation. It comes in a range of 50 shades, 9 shade intensities, 3 mastertones and 7 undertones. So there’s literally a shade for everyone which is amazing. It’s a waterproof formula that is really lightweight and does NOT oxidize. I’d definitely consider this medium coverage, in such a good way. As much as I’d love to have perfectly flawless looking skin, I really don’t like heavy full coverage foundations. I think they look so unnatural and I just don’t like feeling like I’m wearing a mask. I prefer medium coverage that evens out my skin but still shows ME through it. I like to use 1 pump of this blended out with a beautyblender, concealer only to spot conceal on areas that need a little extra coverage and then finish up with a very light layer of the powder foundation to lock everything in. It’s a beautiful natural finish that helps minimize pores but doesn’t hide YOU!

And last but certainly not least the Stay Naked Correcting Concealer that comes in 25 shades. Ummmm where has this been all my life? I am not exaggerating when I say that this is my favorite concealer, ever. I haven’t really loved a concealer since the Wander Beauty Dualist Matte and Illuminating Concealer and I used that in 2016. And I didn’t even love that nearly as much as I do this. This one gives so much more coverage and will cover dark under eyes and discoloration with the tiniest amount of product. It’s a game changer and pretty sure one that will be hard to replace.

I love how inclusive this collection is and how they had every skin tone in mind when creating such a vast shade range. I also love how natural looking these all look and how comfortable and confident I feel wearing them.
